Liposuction?
Liposuction is a safe and effective method to achieve a toned and contoured body by getting rid of the excessive fat from localized areas like buttocks, thighs, flanks, abdominal area, chest and even face. Suction Assisted Liposuction (SAL)

Ultrasound Assisted Liposuction (UAL)
Ultrasound assisted liposuction involves the insertion of a metal rod into the targeted areas. This metal rod emits ultrasonic energy which is useful for melting down the fat and thus making the fat removal easier.
Tumescent Liposuction
A sterile solution is injected at the target site that causes swelling and the blood vessels become narrow. This sterile solution is made up of salt water, an unaesthetic and a drug. The drug helps to narrow down the blood vessels, the salt water helps in fat removal, and the anesthetic helps in alleviating the pain. The swelling of the targeted area and the constriction of the blood vessels thus make it easier to remove the fat through the cannula.
Laser Assisted Liposuction (LAL)
Laser assisted liposuction makes use of high powered laser fiber which is inserted at the targeted area. This laser helps to liquefy the fat which is then extracted through a cannula.
Power Assisted Liposuction (PAL)
Power assisted liposuction makes use of a vibrating cannula which is inserted into the targeted area. This vibrating motion allows the fat to be extracted more easily.

How Is A
Liposuction Performed At Vanity Cosmetic Clinic?
- Liposuction is generally performed under general anesthesia along with intravenous sedation. In case of liposuction over a smaller region, local anesthesia is administered. This ensures that the patient does not feel any discomfort or pain during the process.
- The excess fat cells to be extracted are then loosened from their current place, and then extracted through the cannula depending upon the type of the method used.
- The suctioning out of fat needs to be done with utmost care so that there is no damage to the underlying tissue.
